Job summary

Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes in Camden seeks an echocardiography technologist to support the cardiology team. You will perform 2D echo, stress echo, and transesophageal studies, ensuring accurate data for physician review.

Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience and ARDMS/CCI credentials within a year are required; pediatric credentials may apply. The role is on-site, with part-time hours and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Knowledge of Stress Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.
• ARDMS or CCI credentials within one year of hire; RDCS Pediatric credential may be required for pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2D echo Doppler studies and edits in digital system for physician interpretation.
• Performs stress echocardiography and dobutamine stress echo; processes for physician interpretation.
• Performs transesophageal echocardiograms with the cardiologist and processes for interpretation.

Position Responsibilities:

Required Education:

Graduate of accredited echocardiography program.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Echo techs must be credentialed through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within one year of hire. Pediatric Echocardiography requires RDCS Pediatric credential or approval by interpreting pediatric cardiologists.

#RD_P1 Hourly Rate:

$36.14 - $56.23 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
