Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Clinical Cardiology Technician to perform cardiology procedures across patient ages from neonatal to geriatric. Responsibilities include electrocardiograms, phlebotomy, Holter monitoring, and cardiovascular stress testing.

This on-site Per Diem role supports the cardiology team with a flexible schedule. High school diploma required; Cardiovascular Tech Certification preferred; BLS certification desired. Hourly rate $21.85–$32.83 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Cardiovascular Tech Certification preferred but not required with related experience.
• Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias, stress testing, and Holter monitoring desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular stress testing – Regular/Nuclear/Stress Echo and reports.
• Electrocardiograms and MUSE editing.
• Phlebotomy at Voorhees only.
• Assist cardiologist with echocardiograms and stress test prep.
• Holter monitor application and scanning.

Job Summary: Performs clinical cardiology procedures on patients from neonatal age to geriatric. Clinical cardiology procedures include electrocardiograms, phlebotomy, Holter monitor application, Holter monitor scanning, and cardiovascular stress testing.

Position Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular stress testing – Regular/Nuclear/Stress Echo and preparing reports.
• Electrocardiograms/MUSE editing.
• Phlebotomy at Voorhees only.
• Assists cardiologist in performance of echocardiograms (Memorial only) /DMS editing & Preparing stress test reports (Voorhees, Marlton, Berlin only).
• PVR Studies (Memorial only).
• Holter monitor application and scanning.

Position Qualifications

• Required Experience: Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and heart blocks; stress test experience, holter monitor placement and scanning experience, Prefer one year of on-the-job experience.
• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Training / Certification / Licensure: Prefer Cardiovascular Tech Certification but will consider related work experience. BLS certification.

Hourly Rate: $21.85 - $32.83 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
