Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician to support our clinical team, performing ultrasound exams and coordinating with physicians to ensure quality patient care.

The role requires certified echocardiography credentials, BLS, and experience; you will mentor staff, document results, and participate in education opportunities within a 40-hour, on-site schedule at Saint Joseph Hospital.

Qualificações

• Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Must obtain two national registry credentials through ARDMS, CCI, or ACS as applicable to the department.

Responsabilidades

• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols and coordinate exams with medical staff.
• Prepare for the exam by following patient identification processes, educating patient and family on procedure, and transporting the patient.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
