Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Echo/Vascular Technician to support our vascular and cardiac imaging team. You will perform ultrasound exams, coordinate with physicians, and educate patients during procedures, ensuring safety and high-quality results.

Ideal candidates have ARDMS/CCI credentials, BLS, and experience in echocardiography. The role is based at Saint Joseph Hospital with a 40-hour work week and a 4/10 schedule in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Must obtain two national registry credentials (e.g., ARDMS/CCI/ACS) in vascular or cardiac sonography.
• Must meet Echo/Vascular Technologist I qualifications.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree; higher seniority qualifications for III level.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols in a timely manner.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients and educating on procedure; ensure patient safety.
• Document exam results and related information; apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and stock; assist in repairs and educational activities.
