Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, coordinate with physicians and staff, and educate patients and families. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely exam completion within a 4/10 schedule at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Applicants should have ARDMS/CCI certification pathways or higher with BLS, and may qualify for progression with additional registries and years of experience. A sign-on bonus may apply for certain levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Preferred qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
• 1+ year of experience.
• Minimum qualifications Echo Technologist IIARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Must obtain two of the national registry credentials (ARDMS/CCI/ACS) in vascular, RPHS, TCD, Adult Echo, or Adult Congenital Echo.
• For higher levels, obtain three registries or ≥15 years of echocardiography service, or ≥10 years with degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Document exam results and educate patients and families on procedures.
