Qualifications

• Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; degree will be verified.
• 1+ year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for the exam by identifying patients, educating patient and family on procedure, and transporting the patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols and in a timely manner.
• Document exam results and apply charge codes; maintain equipment and stock.
