Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction. The role supports the clinical team, ensures patient safety, and maintains quality outcomes in a 40-hour full-time schedule at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Ideal candidates have ARDMS/CCI credentials in cardiac/vascular sonography, BLS, and relevant experience. The department emphasizes education, mentorship, and continuous professional development,

Qualifications

• Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree. Education must be from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams in line with department protocols and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients; educate patients and families on procedures.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
• Support quality improvement processes and participate in educational opportunities.
