Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• 1+ year of experience in echocardiography or vascular imaging
• Must meet multiple registry/credential requirements across vascular and cardiac specialties

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with department protocols
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients
• Educate patients and families about procedures and safety
• Document exam results and communicate findings to the team
• Mentor staff and students on equipment use and technique
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies; ensure patient safety and comfort
