Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a qualified Cardio-Diagnostic Sonographer to perform and monitor cardiac ultrasound and Doppler studies. The role requires BLS certification, registry eligibility within one year, and preferred experience in echocardiography.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Eligible to sit for registry within one year of hire (ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS/ACS/RCCS).
• May require ISDH license if applicable.
• 1 year of experience in Echocardiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs, administers & monitors Cardio-Diagnostic tests with emphasis on cardiac sonography and Doppler studies.
• Decides preliminary findings and provides data to physicians in a timely manner.
• Operates equipment and positions patients to record diagnostic images for pediatric through geriatric patients.
