Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Cardiac Technologist to perform, administer and monitor Cardio-Diagnostic tests with emphasis on echocardiography and Doppler studies. You will work with physicians to provide preliminary findings and ensure accurate diagnostic imaging while caring for patients across the lifespan.

You will operate equipment, follow physician instructions, and position patients appropriately.

Qualifications

Requires Basic Life Support (BLS); may require Advanced Life Support where applicable.
Eligible to sit for ARDMS/CCI registry at hire and complete within one year: RDCS/Advanced/ACS/RCCS.
May need to meet registry/certification requirements for another modality, if applicable.
May require Indiana ISDH license if applicable.
Pass written EKG interpretation exam with score >85% initially and yearly.

Responsibilities

Perform, administer and monitor Cardio-Diagnostic tests with emphasis on echocardiography and Doppler studies.
Provide physicians with preliminary findings and recorded data in a timely manner.
Prepare and operate equipment; position patients correctly to obtain requested diagnostic images.
Treat patients with care and respect across pediatric to geriatric populations.
