Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient Echo Technologist to perform comprehensive cardiac imaging and echocardiography procedures in a patient-focused environment. The role emphasizes technical precision and compassionate patient care in alignment with ICARE values.

The incumbent will perform real-time imaging, stress echocardiography, and transesophageal studies while maintaining equipment and engaging in patient education.

Qualifications

• Current registry in Adult Echo (RDMS, RDCS, or RCS) or Registry-Eligible with completion within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the field.
• Strong preference for candidates with outpatient experience.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of growth, development, and assessment across patient ages.
• Commitment to Standards of Performance and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, including exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Demonstrate proficiency with contrast agents and Bubble Studies for diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain testing equipment and document probe use with the TD100 system.
• Educate patients about procedures and perform bedside studies or transport as needed.
• Use digital acquisition and archival systems for imaging data.
• Participate in departmental call schedule and perform necessary clerical duties.
• Uphold age-appropriate standards of care for all patient populations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Cardiovascular Sonographer at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, you play a critical role in our diagnostic services by performing a comprehensive range of cardiac imaging. We are looking for a dedicated professional who combines technical precision with a compassionate approach, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care while upholding our ICARE values.

What you will do in this role

• Perform echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Demonstrate proficiency in Bubble Studies and the appropriate use of contrast agents to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain the functionality of all testing equipment, including the cleaning and documentation of probes using the TD100 automated system
• Provide clear education to patients regarding their procedures and perform bedside studies or transport patients as needed
• Utilize digital acquisition and archival systems for all imaging data
• Participate in the departmental call schedule and perform necessary clerical duties associated with cardiovascular procedures
• Assume responsibility for standards of practice and age-appropriate care for all patient populations

What qualifications you will need
