TriStar Centennial Medical Center seeks a Lead Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The role involves performing echocardiograms including stress echo and transesophageal echo, and coordinating daily patient flow.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• RCS or RDCS certification must be obtained within 1 year of start date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

A Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing of echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms. They should Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development; assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. They perform clerical duties associated with cardiovascular procedures. The sonographer assumes responsibility for standards of practice and quality of care and promotes customer service initiatives. The Lead Sonographer is also responsible for maintaining daily flow of patients through department and coordinating schedules.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
