Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN is seeking an Echo Technologist for PRN shifts. You will perform ultrasound imaging procedures as ordered, and support quality patient care in a diagnostic environment.

Ideal candidates hold RDMS/RDCS/RCS credentials with at least 1 year of experience and must obtain BLS within 30 days. This role provides a flexible PRN schedule within a leading HCA Healthcare system.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS/RDCS/RCS certification as listed.
• One year echocardiography experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Ensure day-to-day delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff.
• Respond promptly to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• As the Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• You will be responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• You will serve as a role model and clinical resource for the staff.
• You will respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff or patient issues.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDCS‑AE) RDCS Adult Echocardiography, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer
• One year experience required
