Job summary

Greenville Cardiovascular Associates is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform echocardiology procedures and operate sonar equipment. You will prepare patients, record results, and assist physicians with evaluations in a dedicated cardiac imaging setting.

We require 1–3 years of experience, a certificate in echocardiography, and ARDMS or CCI certification with BLS. Typical schedule is full-time days, with no nights or weekends in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an approved echocardiography program.
• 1-3 years’ experience is required.
• ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.
• Performs timely procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Performs QA on sonar equipment and adheres to infection control policies.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and performs other duties as required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays

Seeking an Echo Technician/ Cardiac Sonographer who performs echocardiology procedures. Operates sonar equipment, maintains, compiles, calculates and prepares findings for physician interpretation and archiving.

What you will do in this role:

• Prepares patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.
• Performs timely procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Adhere to and practices infection control policies and procedures.
• Performs QA on all sonar equipment.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas.
• Perform other duties as required
• Must read and understand and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement,
• Adheres to established rules, ethical standards, regulations and laws of the speech-hearing profession.

What Qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

• Requires a certificate from an approved echocardiology program.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years’ experience is required

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing
• International (CCI) certification/license required.
• BLS Required
