Job Summary
As a Cardiovascular Sonographer at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, you play a critical role in our diagnostic services by performing a comprehensive range of cardiac imaging. We are looking for a dedicated professional who combines technical precision with a compassionate approach, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care while upholding our ICARE values.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (No nights, holidays, weekends, or on‑call).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Bubble Studies and appropriate use of contrast agents to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain the functionality of all testing equipment, including cleaning and documentation of probes using the TD100 automated system.
- Provide clear education to patients regarding their procedures and perform bedside studies or transport patients as needed.
- Utilize digital acquisition and archival systems for all imaging data.
- Participate in the departmental call schedule and perform necessary clerical duties associated with cardiovascular procedures.
- Assume responsibility for standards of practice and age‑appropriate care for all patient populations.
Qualifications
- Current registry in Adult Echo (RDMS, RDCS, or RCS), or registry‑eligible status with completion required within 12 months of hire.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the field.
- Strong preference for candidates with outpatient experience.
- BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Demonstrated knowledge of human growth, development, and assessment for various patient age groups.
- Dedication to supporting the facility’s Standards of Performance and clinical excellence.
