Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction. This full-time role requires four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating days off and on-call responsibilities that require a 30-minute response time.

The position is primarily at St. Mary's Regional Hospital with rotations at the Cardiology Clinic in Grand Junction, Colorado. ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and will be verified.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Education must be from an accredited institution and degree will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department-specific protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exams by patient identification, education, and transportation.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Communicate patient needs and coordinate care with physicians and team.
