Job summary
Southern Illinois Healthcare in Herrin, IL is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform comprehensive echocardiograms, including color Doppler and stress echo, in a fast-paced clinical setting.
The ideal candidate holds RDCS or RCS certification, an Associate degree in Applied Science, and is able to obtain BLS within 30 days. This full-time role offers competitive pay commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- RDCS or RCS certification required or preferred.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- 3 months of technical experience in echocardiography.
Responsibilities
- Performs complete echocardiogram to include color flow and Doppler.
- Performs Stress Echo.
- Assists with trans-esophageal echocardiograms.
- Assembles reports and distributes test results.
