Job summary

Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Echo Tech - Sonographer to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound testing in our noninvasive Cardiology Services laboratory.

You will perform 2D, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography, delivering high-quality images while upholding patient safety and care standards. BLS is required; RDCS/RCS or equivalent certification is expected within 1 year; 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have 2+ years of experience as a sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Performs all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing in the noninvasive laboratory, including 2D, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services, including two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required, ACLS preferred

• (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Certificate, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

• Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years.
