Angel Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Student Rad Tech PRN to support the Radiology team in Franklin, NC. The role involves performing radiographic procedures under supervision and maintaining sterile technique as required.

The candidate must be a current second‑year student in a JRCERT‑accredited program with BLS certification and at least six months of clinical radiology experience. This is a PRN opportunity within the Mission Health system.

Qualifications

• Required: Current second year student in a JRCERT‑accredited School of Radiography.
• Required Experience: Minimum six months clinical radiology experience in a multi‑discipline department.
• Required License: BLS and clinical from a JRCERT‑accredited School of Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive and non‑invasive radiology procedures under supervision.
• Operate complex radiographic equipment and assist radiologic technologists and physicians as needed.
• Demonstrate independent judgment while producing high‑quality radiographic images.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: The 2nd year radiology student, under supervision, is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Radiology Interns are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist Radiologic Technologist, Physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function with constant supervision from licensed technologist and/or physician to produce superior quality of radiographic images. The Radiology Intern must demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Current second year student in JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.

• Preferred Education: None

• Required License: BLS and required clinical from JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.

• Preferred License: None

• Required Experience: Must be enrolled in 2nd year Radiography program. Minimum six months clinical experience in multi-disciplined radiology department. Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable.

• Preferred Experience: None
