Job summary

Angel Medical Center, part of Mission Health, is seeking an Echo Tech/Sonographer to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound testing in the noninvasive cardiology lab. The role includes 2D, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualified candidates will have BLS; ACLS is preferred, and must demonstrate either RDCS/RCS certification or relevant work experience within 1 year of start date.

Qualifications

• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• RDCS/RCS/certificate or work experience in lieu must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for >2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services, including two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

Performs all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services, including two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required, ACLS preferred
• (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Certificate, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years.
