Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered RDCS or ARDMS certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association within six months of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively under pressure.
• Two-year allied health program or equivalent training in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Echo Department staff and daily operations.
• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiograms.
• Maintain ICAEL accreditation and ensure IAC standards compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow with interrelated hospital departments.
• Assist cardiologists during exams by preparing and measuring M-modes and other relevant data.
• Participate in performance improvement activities across departments.
