Job summary

MaineHealth in Biddeford, ME is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer II for the Cardiopulmonary team. This full-time day shift position requires independent judgment to perform moderate complexity echocardiographic exams.

The role involves TEE and stress echocardiograms and supports diagnosis with high-quality imaging. A ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS must be obtained; a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
• Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment.

Full Time (36 hrs ); Day Shift

Summary: The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.
