Job summary

Savannah Technical College in Georgia is seeking an ECE Coach to coordinate, train, and support early childhood professionals across the Southeast Georgia region. Under the CCR&R framework, you will deliver state-approved trainings, develop action plans with providers, and track progress to improve quality in child care settings.

You will maintain ITERS/ECERS/FCCERS/SACERS qualifications, conduct coaching visits, document outcomes, and ensure compliance with DECAL policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Demonstrate superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Georgia child care rules and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide systematic, quality coaching to providers in Quality Rated.
• Develop a Plan of Action with providers based on needs.
• Assist in POA implementation with coaching visits and training.
• Track coaching activities and maintain records and data.
• Generate reports and present progress updates to leadership.
• Maintain proficiency in ITERS/ECERS/FCCERS/SACERS and Quality Rated.
