Job summary

MSPCA-Angell West in Waltham, MA is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant or technician for the ECC service on an evening shift (2:30pm–1:00am). This full-time role offers a competitive hourly salary starting at $24–$33, plus a $2.50/hr shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

We value reliability, independence and strong communication within a dynamic team. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for credentialed technicians in MA. Prior ECC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of ECC experience in a fast-paced animal clinic or hospital.

Description

Positions are full time 40 hours a week, Hours are 2:30pm-1 am, 4 day work week, rotating weekends and holidays.m $2.50/hr shift differential.

AngellWest is looking for experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service. We have a $10,000 sign on bonus for new hire credentialed veterinary technicians within the state of Massachusetts. This position provides a unique opportunity to practice in an intimate client-focused setting, but with numerous amenities from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital as support.

WHO WE ARE

MSPCA-Angell West, a non-profit 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. The hospital is over 20,000 square feet and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham.

COMPENSATION:

Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour
Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hr
