MSPCA-Angell West is seeking experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service in Waltham, MA. This full-time position is 40 hours per week, day shift, with a 4-day work week and rotating weekends and holidays.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hire credentialed veterinary technicians in Massachusetts and a comprehensive benefits package supported by MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital, including health, dental, life insurance and retirement plans.

Job description

Position is full time 40 hours a week, day shift, 4 day work week, rotating weekends and holidays. Angell West is looking for experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service. We have a $10,000 sign on bonus for new hire applicants who are credentialed veterinary technicians in the state of Massachusetts. This position provides a unique opportunity to practice in an intimate client-focused setting, but with numerous amenities from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital as support.

Who We Are

MSPCA-Angell West, a non-profit 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. The hospital is over 17,000 square feet and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham.

In addition we are looking for applicants with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients. Compensation

Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour

Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hr

Please note that candidates with additional experience or credentials may be eligible for compensation aligned with their qualifications. We have a $10,000 for day shift for new hire full time Certified Veterinary Technicians in this department.
