Job summary

Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is seeking Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technicians of all experience levels and shifts to support our ECC service and expanded patient care areas. This role offers a fast-paced, team-centered environment with advanced technology, ICU, wards, and isolation.

The position provides mentorship, clinical support, and opportunities to develop high-level ECC nursing skills while collaborating with doctors, specialists, and nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of advanced inpatient, ICU, or emergency veterinary care experience.
• CVT, LVT, RVT, or VTS/ECC preferred or encouraged.
• All technician levels encouraged to apply, including those pursuing ECC.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in advanced nursing care for hospitalized, emergency, and critical patients.
• Administer medications via IV, IM, SQ, and PO.
• Monitor and assess patient vitals, including blood pressure, ECG, temperature, pulse oximetry, respiratory rate, and pain scores.
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and invoicing.
