Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Ophthalmology team. This full-time role supports advanced diagnostics, procedures, anesthesia, and ongoing patient care for a diverse ophthalmology caseload.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a veterinary technician, strong anesthesia monitoring skills, and a patient-focused approach within a collaborative clinical team environment near Mount Laurel, NJ.

Qualifications

• Two+ years veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Strong anesthesia experience and ability to independently manage anesthetized patients.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn specialized ophthalmic procedures and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Ophthalmologist with examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgical cases.
• Perform ophthalmic diagnostics such as Schirmer testing, fluorescein staining, tonometry.
• Prepare patients, areas, equipment for ophthalmic procedures.
• Safely administer medications under veterinary direction.
