Job summary

Draper’s Cambridge, MA site seeks an ECAD Technology Group Leader to manage a multi-disciplinary team and align ECAD workflows with hardware design and manufacturing. This role oversees data integrity, security compliance, and tool administration within ECAD operations.

The successful candidate will drive the technology roadmap, lead cross-functional projects, and mentor 10–20 engineers across ECAD disciplines at Draper.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in design, development and management of complex systems.
• Proven ability to supervise a team of 10-20 engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative details and career development for group members.
• Convey information from management to group members and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and assess performance of the group members.
• Oversee staffing, hiring processes and resumes for group roles.
• Shape technology offerings and develop capability roadmaps for ECAD.
