Job summary

Draper is seeking an ECAD Advanced Technologies Group Leader to oversee a multidisciplinary team in Cambridge, MA. You will guide ECAD operations, library governance, and data workflows while aligning technology roadmaps with program needs.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering, strong leadership, and experience with ECAD tools. US government security clearance may be required. A base salary range is provided and benefits support work-life balance in a high-impact research environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present technical material to diverse engineering audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supervising a team of 10–20 engineers or technicians.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop group members; oversee staffing and performance reviews.
• Lead ECAD operations and roadmap development; ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with ECAD Layout Group and other stakeholders; oversee tools and licenses.
• Drive security/compliance for ECAD processes and documentation.
