Job summary

Hamilton Southeastern High School is seeking an Athletic Coach to organize and supervise practices, train student‑athletes, and lead competitions with a focus on safety and positive athletic experiences. The role reports to the Athletic Director and Principal.

The coach will teach sport-specific skills, promote teamwork and good conduct, monitor academic eligibility, and communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and administration.

Job Goal

The Athletic Coach is responsible for organizing, supervising, and instructing student-athletes in the assigned sport while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, skill development, and character. The coach supports the district’s educational mission by providing a safe and positive athletic experience for all participants.

Performance Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices, training sessions, and competitions.
