Responsibilities

• Discuss duties with classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts.
• Assist with implementation of student I.E.P. and maintain data and goals.
• Plan, prepare, and develop teaching aids.
• Supervise groups in cafeteria, library, playground, restrooms and other areas.
• Present subject matter using a variety of methods as directed by the teacher.
• Operate learning aids and technology and assist students with assignments.
• Prepare, administer, and grade student assignments and maintain records.
• Assist students with daily needs and medications as appropriate.
• Assist in communicating with parents on student progress.
