Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in Education preferred.
• Valid NC Teaching license required or renewal.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with administration and other educators to create the most complete educational environment for EC students.
• Follow crisis or emergency procedures as applicable.
• Administer and interpret educational testing; use data to monitor progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
• Establish clear objectives and design instruction to support students’ academic and pro-social goals.
• Modify curriculum/instruction to meet IEP goals and student needs.
• Provide positive behavioral intervention strategies to support student behavior.
