Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or Educational Leadership.
• Valid North Carolina EC educator license.
• Minimum five years' experience in exceptional children's education with instructional and compliance responsibilities.
• Experience in educational leadership, program coordination, and supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of IDEA, NCDPI EC policies, IEP development, and ECATS.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead personnel, interpret regulations, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide district-level leadership for EC programs and services.
• Monitor IEP implementation, service delivery, and compliance timelines.
• Lead coaching, evaluation, and professional development for EC staff.
• Ensure LRE, FAPE, and inclusive practices.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and community partners.
• Oversee EC data reporting and state/federal requirements.
