Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Administration.
• At least five years of teaching experience in Special Education.
• Current NC teaching license in Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Monitor EC programs in all schools to ensure compliance and effectiveness of programming and instruction.
• Provide consultation and guidance to schools on EC programming and instruction.
• Respond to parent concerns and complaints related to EC programming and instruction.
• Participate in EC Leadership Team meetings, EC Team meetings, and other EC staff meetings as scheduled.
• Assist in staff development for general education and EC teachers and administrators.
• Provide assistance to newly employed EC teachers.
• Represent the EC Department in IEP team meetings as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other EC Program and Instruction staff.
