Job summary

Corus International is seeking a Senior Technical Manager for the Ebola Response to join the MOMENTUM team in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires in-office days Tuesday and Wednesday, with responsibilities spanning program leadership, technical oversight, and cross‑functional coordination across country offices and HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of progressively responsible related experience leading international development or humanitarian health programs.
• Experience providing strategic and operational leadership for large-scale, multi-country health programs in developing, fragile, or emergency contexts.
• Experience managing donor-funded awards and advising senior leaders on program performance, financial stewardship, compliance, risk, and corrective action.
• Experience building partnerships with government counterparts, NGOs, FBOs, CBOs, universities, and technical institutions.
• Experience leading through influence across multicultural and multilingual teams.
• Experience using databases, analytics, and data visualization to support executive decision-making.
• Advanced knowledge of USG and other international donor funding mechanisms, including grants and contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex program implementation across departments and offices.
• Excellent executive-level English; proficiency in French required.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, managerial, financial, and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and strategic guidance for country-level Ebola response programs, advising on performance priorities and risk mitigation.
• Engage with the compliance team on donor rules, budgeting, procurements, and amendments, escalating material risks with mitigation measures.
• Oversee grants, subawards, contracts, and financial performance; advise on variances and spending plans.
• Collaborate on integrated work planning, cross-functional reviews, and resource allocations within the LHA portfolio.
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and reporting; present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Design and implement tracking tools, data flows, and processes with cross-team coordination.
