Job summary

Corus International in Washington, DC, seeks a Senior Technical Manager, Ebola Response to lead the Lifesaving Health Assistance program with strategic oversight across country offices and partners. This hybrid role reports to the Senior Director and requires deep technical leadership and program management excellence.

You will coordinate planning, risk management, donor compliance, and performance reporting, while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact Ebola response activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of progressively responsible related experience leading international development or humanitarian health programs.
• Demonstrated experience providing strategic and operational leadership for large-scale, multi-country health programs in challenging contexts.
• Experience managing donor-funded awards and advising senior leaders on performance, financial stewardship, compliance, risk, and corrective actions.
• Experience building partnerships with U.S.-based and international stakeholders across sectors.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English; French proficiency is preferred.
• Ability to lead complex program implementation across departments and partners without relying solely on formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and strategic guidance for country-level Ebola response programs, monitoring progress and risks with corrective actions.
• Guide compliance with donor rules, regulations, procurement, budget modifications, and award amendments.
• Oversee grants, contracts, and financial performance; advise on variances and spending plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning and resource allocation within the LHA portfolio to senior leadership.
• Lead data-driven decision making, reporting, and performance improvement across projects.
• Support Smartsheet dashboards and reporting tools; ensure timely, accurate data across sources.
• Mentor colleagues and provide technical direction in a complex, multinational environment.
