Job summary

FHI 360 seeks an STRIDES Outbreak Response Technical Advisor to provide overall leadership, coordination, and operational oversight for Ebola outbreak preparedness, response, and transition activities in the DRC context. The role acts as the central technical focal point for STRIDES Ebola response implementation and ensures alignment with national and international protocols.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of epidemiology of viral hemorrhagic fevers (VHF), notably Ebola.
• Strong understanding of Incident Management Systems (IMS) and Emergency Operations Centers (EOC).
• Experience with outbreak investigation, surveillance, contact tracing, and emergency coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Ebola outbreak preparedness and response activities.
• Develop and oversee incident management structures and plans.
• Provide strategic leadership to response teams and partners.
