Job summary

FHI 360 is seeking an Associate Director, Operations – Outbreak Response to lead field operations across the STRIDES Activity portfolio in the United States. You will oversee rapid, compliant implementation, emergency procurement, staffing surges, and budget management while coordinating with partners, donors, and government counterparts.

The role requires extensive experience in outbreak response, risk management, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on ensuring operational continuity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• PM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations leadership for outbreak response across multiple countries.
• Coordinate procurement, staffing, travel, and budget tracking to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain donor compliance and reporting; support risk management and surge planning.
• Collaborate with HQ, country teams, donors, and partners on implementation quality and compliance.
• Foster relationships with donors and implementing partners to support program objectives.
