Job summary

FHI 360 is seeking a Program Officer, Outbreak to join the STRIDES global Ebola response team. The role ensures work plans stay on track, supports project implementation, and maintains compliance with donor rules.

You will coordinate resources, monitor budgets and reporting, and liaise with clients and partners to deliver outcomes. This position involves managing complex programs, supporting knowledge management, and contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience with project management principles.
• PM Certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of a second language, particularly French, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbreak response resources (people, consultants, partners, travel, procurement) and plan deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies; review programmatic reports and annual work plans.
• Oversee reporting, and aggregate reporting for project oversight; represent project at client/funder meetings.
• Lead project design tasks and proposal elements; participate in capture management and subaward design; monitor subawards.
• Support onboarding, staff interviews, and HR data integrity; provide operations support as needed.
