The NC Department of Adult Correction seeks a Correctional Regional Operations Manager (NS) to oversee the Eastern Region's thirteen facilities from the Greenville office. This role reports to the Assistant Region Director and leads staff in audits, inspections, emergencies, and disciplinary processes, ensuring SOPs align with division policies.

Competenze

• Documented knowledge of offender custody and program management.
• Documented knowledge of departmental rules, policies and procedures concerning the custody, care, treatment, and training of offenders.
• Experience in supervising employees.

Mansioni

• Supervise region staff responsible for development and monitoring audits, inspections and providing emergency assistance (escapes, insurrections, fires, deaths, etc.).
• Assist with needs for changes in organizational structures, roles, staffing patterns, and scheduling through input from facility heads and review of the operations of the unit.
• Provide Regional assistance regarding training initiatives.
• Ensure SOPs and procedures are consistent with Division Policies; develop internal procedures as needed.
• Monitor operations through on-site inspections, monthly reports, and input from Region staff.
• Discuss problems with subordinates, provide guidance and counsel, and conduct staff disciplinary investigations.
• Conduct performance evaluations with subordinate region staff and participate in promotions interviews.
• Conduct staff investigations and complete final investigation reports.
