Job summary

West Bend Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across the Eastern Iowa territory. This remote/hybrid role requires building and empowering a strong network of independent agencies, developing strategic plans, and turning opportunities into profitable partnerships.

Qualifications

5+ years of property and casualty insurance experience.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, and regulations.
Proven track record of building relationships and delivering sales results.
Confidence to prospect, negotiate, present, and influence.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy for Eastern Iowa territory.
Develop a territory plan, identify growth potential, and set meaningful agency goals.
Build and deepen the agency network by prospecting and appointing new agencies.
Be a resource agencies call; connect them with solutions, products, and resources.
Monitor market, competitors, regulatory changes, and agent feedback to inform decisions.
Create energy around products and partnerships with training, promotions, webinars, and events.
