Job summary

Amphenol Ardent Concepts, a division of Amphenol, is seeking a Field Applications Engineer for the East Territory to support customers across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and parts of Canada. You will work with Field Sales Engineers and Territory Account Managers to understand requirements, position Ardent solutions, and drive design-ins through pre-shipment activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent relevant technical experience will be considered.
Strong technical-sales capability and the ability to communicate technical value clearly to customers and internal teams.
Ability to travel up to 35%, including travel to Canada.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary customer-facing technical contact for East Territory opportunities and programs.
Partner with Field Sales Engineers and Territory Account Managers to advance technical opportunities and support design wins.
Lead technical discovery to understand application requirements, constraints, priorities, and success criteria.
Coordinate advanced or nonstandard requests with Market Applications Engineering and Engineering; act as the technical program manager through pre-shipment.
