Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent II to lead Job Order Contracting projects for the United States Postal Service, including renovation and facility improvements in active facilities.

The role oversees daily field activities, coordinates subcontractors, ensures safety compliance, and communicates with Program/Project Managers and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of progressively responsible commercial construction experience preferred.
• Experience supervising renovation, repair, or improvement work in active facilities preferred.
• Experience with Job Order Contracting or similar task-order programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily onsite construction activities for JOC projects.
• Serve as Weston’s onsite representative and maintain communication with managers, client reps, subcontractors, vendors, and facility personnel.
• Support safe and efficient execution of renovation, repair, and maintenance projects in active facilities.
• Coordinate subcontractor staffing, scheduling, sequencing, deliveries, access, and daily work activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Identify constructability concerns, field conflicts, unforeseen conditions, and potential scope changes.
• Communicate field conditions and change-order potential to the Project Manager.
