Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC in Irving, TX is seeking an East Distribution Operations Center Supervisor to oversee the electric distribution system, switching and service restoration to maintain reliability. The role requires coordinating with DOC leaders and handling after-hours operations with a strong emphasis on safety and communication.

The position features a 6-week rotating shift schedule (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) and weekend shifts (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am); travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants with 5+ years of electrical distribution experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety procedures are followed in dispatch operations at all times.
• Supervise multiple distribution operators and coordinate restoration activities.
• Oversee daily planned and unplanned switching per documented procedures.
• Maintain clear communications with DOC, stakeholders and management.
• Ensure proper record keeping, SOP compliance and training progression.
• Provide training, coaching and development opportunities for operators.
• Assist in developing SOP documents and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Support system and process improvements and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
• Perform all essential job duties and respond to call-outs for storm restoration as needed.
