Job summary

Market Performance Group is seeking an East Coast Sales Manager to drive sales, distribution and market penetration for key CPG clients. You will work with high-priority regional customers and coordinate with MPG teams to achieve budget goals and client objectives.

You’ll rely on POS, IRi data, and shipment data to craft fact-based recommendations, forecast sales, and guide trade investments. A strong data mindset and collaboration across functions are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to leverage POS and syndicated data to drive recommendations.
• Experience managing large East Coast retailers for a CPG broker or manufacturer is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Set short- and long-term objectives with key customers and strategies to meet goals.
• Align customer objectives with client goals and manage trade investments.
• Provide monthly sales forecasts and investment projections using BesTrax.
• Develop data-driven proposals using POS, IRi data, and shipments.
• Collaborate with MPG team to achieve client intimacy and company goals.
