Job summary

AG Lighting Innovations seeks an East Coast Territory Account Manager to drive growth across the region. This remote/field-based role focuses on relationship-building, customer visits, and territory development, not desk sales.

The ideal candidate will travel 50-70% with 2-4 nights away during active weeks, possess poultry/agriculture industry insight, and be comfortable learning our lighting solutions. College degree welcome, but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry, agricultural equipment, livestock production, agricultural construction, distribution, integration, or related industry.
• Existing relationships and a strong reputation within the poultry/agriculture industry.
• Approximately 1-3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a significant regional travel schedule.
• Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills.
• The ability to learn technical products and explain them practically to growers and industry professionals.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel weekly.
• College degree welcome, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong AG Lighting presence throughout the territory.
• Identify new construction, retrofit, replacement, and upgrade opportunities.
• Build relationships while expanding distributor and integrator relationships.
• Develop and maintain a disciplined sales pipeline from first conversation through completed sale.
• Visit farms and customer facilities regularly and become a dependable resource.
• Represent AG Lighting at poultry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and industry gatherings.
• Listen to customers, understand their operational needs, and help identify practical solutions.
• Develop opportunities and close profitable business.
• Work with the internal team on quotes, lighting layouts, specifications, product selection, and technical questions.
• Support projects through planning, installation, and follow-up.
• Use CRM and internal tools to maintain visibility into opportunities and activity.
