AG Lighting Innovations seeks an East Coast Territory Account Manager to drive growth across the region. This remote/field-based role focuses on relationship-building, customer visits, and territory development, not desk sales.
The ideal candidate will travel 50-70% with 2-4 nights away during active weeks, possess poultry/agriculture industry insight, and be comfortable learning our lighting solutions. College degree welcome, but not required.
AG Lighting Innovations designs and manufactures rugged, high-performance LED lighting solutions specifically for commercial poultry and livestock environments. We work with growers, integrators, distributors, contractors, and agricultural partners across the country, providing lighting products and support designed around the realities of production agriculture. As AG Lighting enters its next stage of growth, we're looking for the right person to help build our presence throughout the East Coast.

As AG Lighting enters its next stage of growth, we're looking for the right person to help build our presence throughout the East Coast.
The East Coast represents one of our most important growth opportunities. We're looking for an East Coast Territory Account Manager who can become AG Lighting’s relationship leader throughout the region - someone comfortable walking poultry houses, visiting with growers, meeting with integrator leadership, supporting distributors, and developing opportunities over the long term. This is not a desk sales position. This is a remote/field-based role built around relationships, customer visits, territory development, problem-solving, and representing AG Lighting in the field.
Because being present in the market is essential to this role, we're looking for someone who preferably resides in North Carolina or another centrally located area that allows efficient travel throughout Delmarva, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Candidates should expect to be actively working in the territory approximately 2-3 weeks per month, with some weeks involving day trips and others requiring overnight travel. Travel will generally be approximately 50-70%, with 3-4 nights away from home common during active travel weeks.
We would rather hire someone who understands growers and the poultry industry and teach them our lighting systems than hire an experienced salesperson who has never been inside a poultry house.
Our strongest candidate will likely have:
Base Salary:$60,000+ annually
Commission:3% on eligible sales with uncapped earning potential
Travel:Company-paid approved business travel
Vehicle:Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, based on final role structure
Technology:Company-provided phone, laptop, and necessary sales tools
Benefits:Company benefits package discussed during the offer process
During the first year, the focus will be on learning the business, earning trust throughout the territory, developing a healthy pipeline, and turning relationships into sustainable revenue. By 12 months, our goal is for this person to be generating approximately$500,000-750,000 in annual sales, developing a meaningful pipeline for the following year, and establishing AG Lighting as a trusted lighting resource throughout the territory.
This isn't simply a territory to maintain. It's an established portion of our business with significant room to grow. You'll work directly with company ownership and leadership, have meaningful autonomy, develop long-term industry relationships, and have a voice in how AG Lighting grows the East Coast market.
You won’t be starting from zero. AG Lighting already has established customers, distributor relationships, and a growing presence throughout the East Coast. This role is about building on that foundation - giving our distributors, integrators, growers, and industry partners more consistent local support while identifying new opportunities for growth. We need someone who can be present in the market more often, strengthen the relationships we already have, and develop the ones we haven't reached yet.
