Job summary

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is seeking an Early Vote Analyst for the 2026 cycle to work with early vote datasets and reporting to assess battleground Senate races and provide updates to stakeholders.

This DC-based role reports to the Deputy National Data and Analytics Director and requires strong data visualization, SQL, and reporting skills to drive strategic decisions. Salary is $80,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • At least one cycle of political experience.
  • 2+ years of data visualization and reporting infrastructure experience.
  • 2+ years using data visualization tools (Hex, Tableau, Google Data Studio, GIS, R, Python, Excel, Google Sheets).
  • 2+ years using SQL professionally.
  • Ability to build consensus across departments.
  • Proven ability to prioritize projects and work independently.
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment and implement creative solutions.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is hiring an Early Vote Analyst for the 2026 cycle. The Early Vote Analyst will work with early vote datasets and other tools to analyze and evaluate the state of battleground Senate races and provide updates to a variety of stakeholders through written and graphical reporting updates.


This position reports to the Deputy National Data and Analytics Director.


Responsibilities


  • Use historical and in-cycle data to evaluate trends in early voting and ballot rejection / cure across Senate battleground states

  • Write actionable analysis for stakeholders across the DSCC and state teams about what early vote data mean for the state of the race

  • Produce meaningful and actionable reports and dashboards to explain early vote and rejection / cure data to non-technical stakeholders, and present recommendations to guide strategy

  • Convert broad stakeholder requirements into concrete, actionable plans for reporting projects

  • Produce clear documentation outlining reporting products as they are rolled out


Skills and Qualifications


  • At least one cycle of political experience

  • 2+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting infrastructure

  • 2+ years of experience working with data visualization tools, such as (but not limited to) Hex, Tableau, Google Data Studio, GIS, R, Python, Excel, Google Sheets

  • 2+ years using SQL professionally

  • Ability to build consensus to work effectively within and across departments.

  • A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be self-directed.

  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems.


This position is based in DC. This position is expected to work out of the DSCC office located on Capitol Hill.


The annualized salary for this position is $80,000.


This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
