Job summary

San Andreas Regional Center seeks an Early Start Service Coordinator to coordinate services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays. You will work with families and professionals to ensure timely intervention and to develop IFSP plans, while advocating for families and monitoring progress.

The role involves home visits, extensive travel within catchment areas, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support child development and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field.
• Special Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of social work principles and ability to relate to clients and families.
• Other: Use of an automobile and driver's license, with insurance, required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for infants and families; determine eligibility at age 3.
• Develop and monitor IFSPs in collaboration with families and professionals.
• Advocate for families and assist in crisis intervention and referrals.
