Job summary

San Andreas Regional Center is seeking an Early Start Service Coordinator to coordinate services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays across diverse settings.

You will partner with families and professionals to assess needs, develop IFSPs, arrange services, and monitor progress within the child’s natural environment. This role emphasizes advocacy, education, and ongoing family support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of social work principles, objectives and techniques.
• Ability to relate constructively to a wide variety of individuals and organizations; rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to prepare and present oral and written reports; maintain case records.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and IFSP processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in psychosocial and developmental screening assessments in the home environment.
• Develops IFSPs in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Coordinates services and monitors IFSP goals across providers.
• Advocates with families to ensure access to needed services and educate them on processes.
• Supports transition from Early Start to educational services after age 3.
• Maintains accurate records and reports per regulations and policies.
